Kim Lorenz is an award-winning author, entrepreneur and business leader who founded two companies starting at age 26. He built and ran them successfully, then sold both to Fortune 500 companies after 20 years. He then became a CEO for a Paul Allen company. He is the author of a best-selling book titled: “Tireless: Key principles that drive success beyond business school”. Kim is a 42-year Rotarian, with the RC of Bellevue, WA, an Arch Klumph Society member, Major donor, Bequest Society member, benefactor and a Paul Harris Society member. Kim lives in Seattle and has been married to his wife Jill for 48 years. He is a proud parent of 3 and grandparent of 7. When he isn’t developing business models, he is piloting his aircraft, cycling, docking his boat at the yacht club or driving his new Porsche.
In his copious spare time (!!) Kim is the Rotary Liaison to World Vision, a major RI partner and one of the world’s largest and most successful humanitarian organizations. Kim set up the partnership with WV 20 years ago and travels around the world talking to Rotary Clubs about this key partnership.

Reid Myers is a passionate community leader, facilitator, and organizer with a track record of bringing together individuals and groups to address issues, meet community needs, and foster connections. Currently serving as the Director of Silicon Valley Reads since 2020, Reid oversees all aspects of the Community Engagement Program in Santa Clara County. In this role, she collaborates with libraries, schools, and local organizations. Reid is responsible for working with her co-chairs and advisory board to pick a relevant theme and books each year, then leads a team to organize hundreds of events each season. She also solicits funds to support the program, manages advertising and creates PR and marketing materials. In addition to her role at Silicon Valley Reads, Reid has been actively involved in community initiatives for over two decades. She is currently the President of the Cumberland South Neighborhood Association in Sunnyvale and acts as a facilitator of quarterly meetings for all neighborhood association leaders across the city. Reid has an MBA from San Jose State University and a BSBA in Marketing from the University of Arizona. |

The sudden passing of Sesh Ramaswami, Past President of the the Rotary Club of Saratoga and Co-Chair of the 2024 District Conference, saddens all of us. Sesh has been, and will always be, a Rotarian with a big heart in giving back to the communities, locally and globally. He will be deeply missed and remembered. We will have a tribute in memory of Sesh. |
