Liset Morales

Liset Morales from Bright Futures has been leading and teaching courses with at-risk youth for the past 19 years. She specializes in engaging youth in programs to help them build self-awareness and stronger life skills.

She supervised and trained life skills coaches and mentors to work with youth and keep youth on track to achieving their goals in life. Liset provides consulting to coaches and individuals to achieve their maximum potential.  She enhances and adapts course materials based on current needs of the youth and develops different methodologies for maximum effectiveness.

She co-leads trainings at annual off-site camps to ensure youth are meeting the objective criteria.  She also adapts previous course materials according to current-year youth groups and updates content as needed. She has been leading the annual intensive retreat for the Bright Futures- Step Up program for the past 6 years. Prior to that, she trained mentors, staff, youth, parents and volunteers from California Community Partners for Youth.

While living in Mexico, she volunteered at Special Olympics and different Drug and Alcohol Prevention programs.

Bright Futures is a program to empower youth (and the adults who support them) to live meaningful lives through the practice of their four cornerstones; Accountability, Commitment, Possibility, and Community.
