District Governor's Visit

Gregg Giusiana has been a Rotarian for over twenty years.  He has served the district twice as Assistant Governor and Lieutenant Governor.  He has been and still is a member of several district committees.  He is a past recipient of the Richard D King Award and Sydney R. Mitchell Award.

 

Gregg is a long time resident of Gilroy. Amongst his many community activities, Gregg is a past president of the Garlic Festival, past Chair of the Chamber of Commerce and was selected as Gilroy’s Man of the year in 2015.  Gregg worked for the Gilroy Police Department for 34 years, the last ten of which as its Chief of Police.

 

Gregg is currently the Vice President of Academy Services at South Bay Regional Public Safety Training in San Jose. He has a Masters of Public Administration from San Jose State University.  Gregg and his wife Chris, who is a Morgan Hill Rotarian, have three grown children and three grandchildren.

 

He joined Rotary as a career move and then stayed for the fun. Gregg’s theme for his year as Governor is “Make Membership Meaningful.”
