The generosity of Saratoga Rotarians was on display in the months of November & December. In addition to the regular monthly service events (Martha’s Kitchen & Park-it Market) our members kicked off the Holiday Season with the collection of warm clothes, scarves & socks. These were delivered to West Valley Community Services and HomeFirst for distribution to families in need this winter.

Breakfast with Santa is an event that the youngest students at Washington Elementary School look forward to every year. After two years the event was back to its pre-pandemic nature of being indoors and breakfast was served to 150 pre-k through 1st grade students. Rotarians sang Christmas Carols and students took photographs with Santa (Rtn. Ray Castenada) and Mrs. Claus (Lara Grad). A special thank you to the students of Cambrian Academy who joined our members to serve breakfast and do crafts with little ones.

Saratoga Rotarians purchased 72 gifts for the Family Giving Tree Holiday Drive. Terri Creamer led our members in volunteering at the FGT warehouse where we sorted and packaged gifts to be delivered to various agencies serving in our community.
