All Rotarians and other early risers are welcome to attend our Campus Cruiser Walk on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 AM. The ~2-mile walk starts from the near corner of the Saratoga City Hall parking lot at Allendale & Fruitvale.
Details:
- An easy 2-mile “loop” around the beautiful West Valley College campus, weather permitting.
- Lots of greenery, scenery, and four bridges crossing streams.
- Entirely on paved paths, with no steps, few bikes and pedestrians, and cars only in parking lots and street crossings.
- ~50 feet delta elevation.
- Bathrooms may be open along the route. Bathrooms are open in the cafeteria after 8 AM.
- Free parking at the City Hall lot, where we will start our walk.
- Optional parking at WVC lot 4 for $3. (Meet the group on the path shortly after 7:30).
- Excellent coffee at Drip Coffee Co. https://www.westvalley.edu/services/drip-coffee/ on campus, in the cafeteria at the end of the walk. Fresh hot and cold breakfast items in the cafeteria. (Option to go to either Quito Starbucks or Big Basin Café when Drip is closed during school breaks).
- Lots of quiet seating both inside and outside the cafeteria to enjoy our beverages and to schmooze
- No need to sign-up. Just show up.
